SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Linda Burzynski Appointed Senior Vice President of Development for Franchise Update Media Group (FUMG)

Today CEO Gary Gardner announced the addition of Linda Burzynski to the FUMG executive team. "We are very pleased Linda is joining our organization. Linda will help us accelerate our growth and brand-building as we move forward and expand our educational and multi-media programs for our franchisor, multi-unit franchisee and supplier audiences."

Burzynski comes to FUMG with more than 30 years of strong leadership experience in the franchise community, most recently as CEO of VL Service Corporation, where she worked with CEOs and Presidents of emerging and established franchise systems. Previously, she held CEO/President positions at Liberty Fitness and CMIT Solutions. As President and COO of Molly Maid, she led their growth from 12 million in client revenues to over 86 million within a period of five years. Prior to this time she served for ten years as Senior Vice President of Operations for Interiors by Decorating Den.

In recognition of her achievements, Burzynski has received numerous industry awards including Enterprising Women Magazine’s Hall of Fame, The Crystal Compass from The Women's Franchise Committee, and the Bonny LeVine Award. She has also served on The Board of Directors for the International Franchise Association, as trustee with the International Franchise Association Educational Foundation, and as Chairperson to ICFE Board of Governors.

In 2001, she received the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Minorities and Women Division of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Burzynski will start July 1st.
